Youth Cheer Clinic

The Nordonia High School Cheerleaders are sponsoring their annual “CheerleadingYouth Clinic” fund raiser.  We are calling all girls in grades K-6 to come join the fun and learn a dance routine and cheer!   The clinic will be held on Sunday, February 4th, 2018 from 9:30am – 1:30pm.   The cost of the clinic is $25.00 dollars.  The proceeds support the cheerleaders

Collica Athlete of the Week

Junior wrestler, Mitch Collica has been named the Nordonia Athlete of the Week.  Mitch has started the season 13-0, winning the 138 lb. championship at both the Solon Comet Classic and the Northcoast Classic.  In addition, Mitch was named the tournament’s most outstanding wrestler at the Northcoast.  The Knights wrestling team travels to Pymatuning Valley

Knights Bowlers Place 6th

The Nordonia boys bowling team placed 6th in the state at last weekend’s OHSAA Division I State Bowling Tournament.  The Knights were lead by senior bowler, Phil Toth who placed 5th at the tournament to earn All Ohio 1st Team Honors.  The tournament capped a fantastic season in which the team captured the Suburban League

Toth named Athlete of the Week

Senior bowler, Phil Toth led the Knights Boys Bowling team to their third consecutive state tournament berth.  The team captured the district title while Phil won the district championship with a 742 series easily outdistancing the competition by 110 pins.  Phil was the only district bowler to reach the 700 pin mar k.

Novak named Athlete of the Week

Senior bowler, Conner Novak has been named the Wascovich-Lake Shore Insurance Athlete of the Week.  Conner led the Knights Varsity Boys Bowling team to two Suburban League dual meet victories over Cuyahoga Falls & Barberton.  The team also took home championships at the Norton Panthers tournament and the Knights Classic.  Conner bowled a 685 series

The weather outside may have been cold but the Nordonia boys and girls bowlers were hot on the lanes at Roseland.  Both the boys and girls team brought home championships from the annual Nordonia Knights Classic.
