Zaborszki named Athlete of the Week

Nordonia senior cross country runner, Brian Zaborszki placed 10th at the OHSAA Regional meet last Saturday at Boardman High School thus earning the Wascovich-Lake Shore Insurance Athlete of the Week.  Based on his finish, Brian qualified for this coming weekend’s OHSAA State Cross Country meet at National Trail Raceway in Hebron, Ohio.

Korodi and Zaborszki finish in top 25

The Nordonia Mens Cross Country Team placed 11 out of 22 teams at the Medina Cross Country Festival. Mens Team Place 14th at Boardman

The Nordonia Mens Cross Country Team placed 14th out of 37 teams at the Spartan Invitational held at Boardman High School. The Knights continue to show improvement at Boardman with a number of season best times.  The Knights to finishers where Senior Charlie Korodi and Junior Brian Zaborszki. Korodi Sets Record

Senior Charlie Korodi set the school record with a time of 16:03.16 at Tiffin Carnival this past Saturday. The meet was held at Hedges Boyer Park in Tiffin, Oh. The Knights also received strong efforts from Brian Zaborszki and Scott Masteller as both ran personal best times. Brian ran 16:27.53 and Scott ran 18:12.87

Super Duals

The Boys Cross Country Team finished 5-2 at the Suburban League Super Dual placing 3 runners in the top 9. The Knights where lead by Super Dual League Champion Charlie Korodi, followed by Junior Brian Zaborszki in 5th place and Tommy Mastellers’ 9th place finish
