Girls District Basketball Spirit Bus

Attention Nordonia Fans, your 22-2 Lady Knights girls’ basketball team has advanced to the District Championship game this Friday night.  The game is being played at Medina High School at 7 PM.  In an effort to generate more fan support, the Athletic Department will be offering a “Spirit Bus” to and from the game.  The

Junior basketball player, Hallie Majoros has been named the Nordonia High School Athlete of the Week.  Hallie, a University of Milwaukee Wisconsin recruit, broke the school record with 8 three point field goals in a game on Saturday, December 14, 2019.  The girls team defeated Brecksville-Boardview Heights 69-28 to improve their overall record to 7-1

Girls Basketball Schedule Change

Due to a conflict at Hudson High School, the girls JV and varsity basketball games originally scheduled for Saturday, December 7 at 5:30 & 7:00 PM have been moved to the afternoon.  The games will now be played at 1:00 PM (JV) and 2:30 PM (Varsity).  The games will still be played at Nordonia High

Girls Hoops Athlete of the Week

The Nordonia Varsity Girls Basketball has gotten off to a fast start this season and therefore has been named the Nordonia Athlete of the Week.  The Lady Knights won the Toni Ross Spirit Tournament this past weekend at Warren Howland High School.  Senior, Lizzie Imrie and Junior, Madison Cluse were named Co-MVP’s of the tournament. 

Knights down Vikings 52-47 to open the season

The Nordonia Lady Knights varsity basketball team opened the season with a 52-47 victory over traditional power, North Canton Hoover.  After falling behind 31-24 at halftime, the Knights outscored Hoover 27-16 in the second half to secure the win.   Key defensive adjustments made at halftime and balanced scoring allowed Nordonia to pull it out.  The

Senior girls basketball player, Sarah Turley has been named the Wascovich-Lake Shore Insurance Athlete of the Week.  Sarah scored a career high 22 points in the Lady Knights victory over Revere last Saturday. .

Youth Cheerleading Clinic

The Nordonia High School Cheerleaders are sponsoring their annual “CheerleadingYouth Clinic” fund raiser.  We are calling all girls in grades K-6 to come join the fun and learn a dance routine and cheer!   The clinic will be held on Sunday, February 5th, 2017 from 9:30am – 1:30pm.   The cost of the clinic is $25.00 dollars.  The proceeds support the cheerleaders and
