Virtual Spring Sports Awards Ceremony

Since we were unable to play and host a traditional spring sports season, the Nordonia Athletic Department has put together a virtual recognition ceremony.  Your spring awards were either picked up during locker clean out days or mailed to your homes.  If for some reason, you have not received them, please contact the Athletic Office

Maciejowski Athlete of the Week

Junior shortstop, Alexi Maciejowski has been named the Wascovich-Lake Shore Insurance Athlete of the Week.  Alexi hit .450 with 2 HR’s, 9 RBI’s and 4 Stolen Bases including a grand slam homer at Stow.  The Lady Knights finished the week 4-1 record with wins over Hudson, Stow and Mayfield.

Knights open new facilities!

Lady Knights Advance!

The Nordonia Lady Knights softball team advanced to the District Championship game for a third consecutive season by defeating Solon 7-4 on Monday evening.  After falling behind 4-0, the Knights rallied for three runs in the third, another in the fourth and closed out the scoring with three runs in the bottom of the sixth

Groff Athlete of the Week

Different sport, different season, same results!  Senior shortstop, Holly Groff has been named the Wascovich-Lake Shore Insurance Athlete of the Week.  Holly exploded at the plate during the first week of the season hitting .538 with 2 singles, 3 doubles and 2 home runs.  She also had 10 RBI’s and scored 8 runs as the
